The Role

As a Driver & Logistics Support Technician, you are responsible for delivering materials, tools, and products to our installation teams, as well as providing on-site support during installations. You ensure that teams have everything they need to work safely and efficiently.

Tasks

• Deliver scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment to installation sites
• Distribute air conditioning units, heat pumps, and other products to customer locations and teams
• Assist installers with lifting, moving, and setting up equipment where needed
• Perform small support tasks during installation projects (“hand and spandiensten”)
• Ensure safe loading, unloading, and transport of materials
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collected equipment
• Work closely with the planning team to guarantee timely distribution

What we are looking for

• Experience as a driver, preferably in logistics, construction, or installation support
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving equipment safely
• Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented attitude
• Team player with good communication skills
• Willingness to travel across the Netherlands daily

Multi-skilled teams

At Roke, we are specifically looking for multi-skilled teams. While your main focus will be on logistics and driver support, we highly value team members who:

• Already have experience assisting in installations (airco, heat pumps, EV chargers, boilers, or solar systems)
• Or are open to learning these additional skills with training provided by Roke

This multi-skilled approach makes our teams more flexible and ensures continuous projects throughout the year.

Qualifications & Certificates (International)

We recruit many team members from Slovakia and other EU countries. Not all Dutch certificates are required at the start – Roke provides guidance to obtain them.

Required upon start

• Driving license B (license BE or C is a strong advantage)
• Ability to communicate in English (at least one team member per duo fluent)
• Basic knowledge of safe lifting and transport practices

Required in the Netherlands (Roke provides support if not yet obtained)

• VCA Basic (safety certificate for working in the Netherlands)
• Certificate for working with scaffolding and ladders (preferred, Roke can arrange training)

Contract & Administration

• Work as an independent subcontractor (self-employed / ZZP) based on valid A1 documentation
• Fixed daily allowance plus an attractive hourly rate, with the possibility to make many hours
• Standard work rotation: 4 weeks in the Netherlands, followed by 2 week at home in Slovakia
