With professional installation teams from the Netherlands and abroad, we ensure safe, reliable, and energy-efficient results.

The Role

As an Insulation Installer & Technician, you are responsible for installing insulation materials to improve energy efficiency in homes and commercial buildings. You will work in two-person teams and receive support from our head office and technical department.

Tasks

• Install cavity wall, roof, and floor insulation
• Apply insulation foams, panels, and other energy-saving materials
• Prepare and finish work areas to a professional standard
• Ensure safe handling of insulation products and tools
• Perform quality checks and document completed work
• Provide professional, customer-focused service on-site
• Work according to Dutch safety and environmental standards

What We Are Looking For

• Experience with insulation (cavity wall, roof, or floor) or general construction background
• Physically fit and able to work in various environments (roofs, crawl spaces, scaffolding)
• Accurate, solution-oriented, and safety-conscious
• Team player with a flexible and motivated mindset
• Willingness to work and travel throughout the Netherlands

Multi-Skilled Teams

At Roke, we are specifically looking for multi-skilled installation teams. While your main focus will be on insulation, we highly value teams that:

• Already have experience with multiple systems such as heat pumps, air conditioning, EV charging stations, boilers, home batteries, or solar panels
• Or are open to learning these additional skills with full training and certification provided by Roke

This multi-skilled approach allows our teams to work on a wide variety of sustainable installations, ensuring continuous projects year-round and excellent professional growth.

Qualifications & Certificates (International)

We recruit many installers from Slovakia and other EU countries. Not all Dutch certifications are required at the start – Roke provides guidance and training to obtain them.

Required upon start

• Technical background in construction or installation (minimum MBO level 2/3 or equivalent in Slovakia)
• Driving license B
• At least one team member per duo speaks fluent English

Required in the Netherlands (Roke provides support if not yet obtained)

• VCA Basic / VCA VOL (safety certificate for working in the Netherlands)
• Certificate for working at heights / scaffolding (mandatory for roof insulation)
• NEN3140 (preferred, for electrical safety when working near installations)

Contract & Administration

• Work as an independent subcontractor (self-employed / ZZP) based on valid A1 documentation
• Fixed daily allowance plus high bonuses per installation and service visit
• Standard work rotation: 3 weeks in the Netherlands, followed by 1 week at home in Slovakia
