The Role
We are seeking International airconditioning Installers to join our team, specializing in the installation of high-quality climate systems in residential properties. This role combines technical expertise with customer-focused interaction, ensuring each system is installed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Installations are carried out through subcontracting agreements, with the contracting party in the home country of the installers managing payroll.
Responsibilities
- Installation: Install indoor and outdoor air conditioning units, ensuring proper placement and function;
- Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and thorough inspections on existing airconditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity, identifying any potential issues early on;
- Drilling: Perform required wall drilling and pipework for air conditioning systems
- Troubleshooting: Effectively troubleshoot basic issues that arise in airconditioning systems, providing well-considered recommendations for repairs and enhancements;
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all service work and inspections performed, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing a reliable reference for future maintenance;
- Safety Protocols: Diligently follow established safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues;
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns promptly, and ensuring their satisfaction with the services provided;
- Fault Finding & Repair: Conduct comprehensive fault finding and repairs for electrical systems, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards;
- Standard task: Perform electrical work
- Team collaboration: Work as part of a two-person team, dividing tasks based on expertise and requirements;
- Client Handover: Achieve a successful set-to-run handover to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and confident in the operation of their new systems, with a goal of zero callbacks or complaints;
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the project coordinator throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and addressing any emerging issues promptly.
What we’re looking for
- Experience: Previous experience of installing and maintain aircoditioning systems;
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Team Player: Ability to work in a 2 man team-oriented environment;
- Safety Commitment: Adhere to safe working practices;
- Positive Attitude: Display enthusiasm and a positive mental attitude;
- Flexibility: Exhibit patience and a proactive approach.
Qualifications
- Background in electric installations
- At least one team member must speak and write fluent English;
- Valid Category B driver’s license is required.
Contractual & Administrative Arrangements
- Installers are compensated on a per-installation basis under subcontracting agreements;
- The subcontractor manages payroll in the installers' home country and ensures compliance with agreed terms.
